Ed2010 at Syracuse University is the Ed-On-Campus chapter of Ed2010. Ed2010 is a national magazine networking group that brings together aspiring magazine editors who share the goal of scoring a dream job in magazines and/or publishing.

Ed2010 at SU is for students who are magazine LOVERS. People who love glossies so much that they dedicate their lives to memorizing mastheads, e-mailing with efficiency, learning about libel, and the rest of what goes into pursuing magazine journalism and/or publishing as a career.

Ed-on-Campus is the student version of taking on the mag world before actually landing a job in it. Members enjoy events (2 large events per semester), networking events, resume and writing workshops, and mag chat events throughout the semester. Also, the chapter stays connected to internship opportunities, past internship experiences, possible job openings, and industry-related news through a chapter newsletter disseminated every two weeks.

Ed welcomes students at SU from any major and school who demonstrate the interest of a magazine or publishing career (editorial, art, photography, production, etc.). Dues are $20 per academic year (August-May) to cover event expenses, gain entry into exclusive Ed events with magazine speakers, and more. To join, e-mail Ed at syr.ed2010@gmail.com for more details.
